Bluetooth and camera
Security always comes first: Banking apps cannot be automatically transferred to other smartphones. If you already have the BW pushTAN-App installed on your old smartphone, you can use the “New device” option to easily and quickly transfer all of your data to the new phone. What you’ll need:
- Bluetooth activated on your old and new smartphone or tablet
- A working pushTAN connection on your old device for scanning the QR code
- A camera on your old device for scanning the QR code

BW-BankCard plus (debit card) – card number
At some stage during this process, you will be asked to enter your BW-BankCard plus (debit card) number. This number can be found on the rear of your card.

Activation password and credit card number
Do you only use the BW pushTAN-App to authorize online card payments? If so, you can also set up the BW pushTAN-App with your activation password and your 16-digit card number. The activation password is in the letter sent to you with the initial registration letter for the BW pushTAN-App. The 16-digit card number is on the front of your card.
